2025 Hockey Season - NEW PLAYERS WELCOME

LGSHA has competitions suitable for juniors from Year 2 to Year 12, and adults of A and B grade standards.  We play at the Albany turf on Barker road and the Mount Barker turf at Souness Park.  

We have junior representative teams from Year 5 to Year 10 that participate at carnivals in Narrogin, Bunbury and Perth.  Year 11 & 12's may also attend the Perth Club Championships. Trials for these teams occur at the end of Term 1.

Our senior representative teams are well catered for with the CBH Country Championships in Perth each year, along with the Great Southern Carnvial (venue changes yearly).  Some of our best seniors will get selected to represent the WA State Country team in a National Competition.

Hook In 2 Hockey is our introductory program for Kindy, Pre-Primary and Year 1 students.  It will run through Term 2 on Wednesday afternoons and an extra program is booked in for Term 3.

LGSHA has a Hockey Development Officer who works in the schools in our region, exposing children to our great game. She also facilitates visiting Hockeyroos, Kookaburras and Thundersticks players for local clinics, among other duties.
